Members of families affected by the Bhopal gas tragedy that killed thousands of people in 1984 stage a protest and waiting for the verdict in the premises of Bhopal District Court in Bhopal on Monday,07 June 2010. District court convicted eight former senior employees of Union Carbide"s Indian subsidiary of ‘death by negligence’ found guilty for their roles in the Bhopal gas tragedy that left an estimated 15,000 people dead and more than 5 lakhs people injured/effected 25 yrs ago. Amongst the eight is Warren Anderson, former chairman of Union Carbide Corporation, US, who is absconding.
