Chimalkhedi, a village in Maharashtra got submerged due to Sardar Sarovar in the Narmada water, 1994 since when they are awaiting in the non-habitable tin sheds,but no land is allotted to them, as yet. Jeevanshala students along with their parents live in tin sheds, 10x10ft. in size are without ventilation and full of darkness. which is not justified as rehabilitation in Rs.40,000 crores worth project.
