Cock fight in progress during the annual JonBeel Festival in Morigaon on Friday,22 January 2010. The three-day traditional Jon Beel festival on the eve of the Tiwa tribe’s Bhogali Bihu celebration, at Junbeel Pathar, near Jagiroad in Morigaon district. The ceremonial ‘king’ of the erstwhile Gobha Kingdom, Deepsing Deoraja on Thursday along with his ‘ministerial’ followers assembled at the Mela site to attend a community feast which was also joined by a host of other personalities from the tribe and others.
