Grassroots activists, village councilors, farmers, agriculture unionists and academics from 18 of India"s 27 states take part in a Right to Food protest in New Delhi on Thursday, 26 November 2009. Protesters demanded that the Congress party-led UPA government lives up to its promise of guaranteeing food security, in particular following the drought that has hit the country.
