Chief Minister of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia during a meeting to finalize Punjab Annual Plan 2009-10 in New Delhi on Friday, 26 June 2009. The Annual Plan of Punjab for the year 2009-10 has been approved in a meeting. The Annual Plan size was agreed at Rs 8600 crores. This includes additional Central assistance of Rs.75 crores for projects of special interest to the State.
