A labour clear road srinagar- Leh highway at 11785, Feet Zogila pass 150 kilometers (68 miles) north of Srinagar on April 19, 2011. The Srinagar-Leh National Highway connecting Ladakh to the Kashmir Valley is being re-opened on April 27, 2011. the snow clearence operation is in full swings to meet the deadline this wiil be for the first time that highway is reopened in april- one month ahead of shedule the highway, receives higest snowfall in winter forcing its closer for six months in a year.
