Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray waves to supporters after court granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh, in connection with a 2008 rioting case in which North Indians appearing for railway recruitment examinations were assaulted in Kalyan on Monday, 29 June 2009. Earlier in the day Raj Thackeray surrendered before the Railway Police after which he was produced at court, where he was sent to judicial custody till 13 July after the decision his lawyers immediately moved a bail application and it was granted by court.
