Houbara bustard: - The Houbara size is 60cm while standing, they occurs from Canary islands of Spain to north Africa and middle east to Central eastern and southern Asia, it breeds in Baluchistan and winter visitor to Pakistan, Rajasthan and Gujarat’s sandy semi deserts.They roost in open places ad bare areas, when disturbed they try to hide their head and becomes camouflage with ground. Houbaras are omnivorous, but largely feed on vegetarian, taking tender shoots of wheat and various berries, also ants beetle, grasshoppers and locust, lizards and small snakes.
