Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) workers install a girder on the elevated stretch of the airport express line in New Delhi Friday, 09 January 2009.line of the Delhi Metro is 22.7 km (14.11 miles) long stretch out of which a distance of 7 km (4 miles) is elevated. The extra long girders, which are approximately 120 tones each, have been earlier used only in China and Taipei, according to the DMRC.
