Fotocorp is proud to offer this new section to you. Galleria is an online platform to showcase and make available a wide range of work done by India’s leading photographers. It will attempt to bring together photo-essays, photo-projects, and photo-stories by photographers across the country. It will include news photojournalists, wild life photographers, commercial and industrial photographers, amateur photographers. In other words, Galleria provides a one-stop window for photography lovers to access the work of Indian photographers, and will facilitate photographers to showcase their work globally.

Mumbai’s Mills: From spinning cloth to spinning money by Ashish Raje
This photo project on declining textile mills of Mumbai won photojournalist Ashish Raje the National Foundation of India fellowship. Mumbai’s textile mills once provided livelihoods to thousands of workers. Now very few mills spin cloth, but have been transformed into huge money-spinners for mill owners and the government as the real-estate boom catapulted Mumbai among the world cities with the costliest real estate.
Ashish works with a Mumbai-based leading English newspaper and has won several awards for his work.

View from HEAVEN by Gopal Bodhe

Wildlife by Hira Punjabi
Hira Punjabi is a renowned wildlife photographer with more than 10,000 stunning wild life images in his collection. He has travelled widely to sanctuaries and wild life parks across India. He has contributed articles and photographs to several national and international wildlife magazines and won several international awards for his work. He conducted a photographic survey of Kudremukh national park for Bombay Natural History Society and won the top prize in the Sanctuary-ABN Amro wildlife photography contest in 2001.
