Chairman of TATA International Ltd, Syamal Gupta at the formal announcement of acquisition of UK base Corus in Mumbai on Wednesday, 31 January 2007.The revised acquisition to place at a price of 608 Pence in cash per Corus share with this acquisition Tata Steel becomes fifth largest steel manufacturer in the world.
